Suzano Papel e Celulose
Case study
Barco’s video wall technology has been chosen by Suzano Papel e Celulose in Brazil, one of Latin America’s largest integrated producers of pulp and paper. With the installation of Barco’s state-of-the-art visualization technology, the company is able to perfectly visualize all its processes and production facilities.
With Barco’s video wall technology, Suzano will be able to view and monitor all graphic applications of automation systems and CCTV cameras that are controlling the company’s multiple operation cells (water intake, lime kiln, causticizing, cooking, woodyard, bleaching, turbo power generator, recovery boiler, biomass boiler and boiler water treatment).
Suzano chose 10 rear-projection modules with 67” size and high resolution, which in total take up a visualization area of 15 square meters. The projection cubes can be mounted in various layouts and therefore perfectly meet the customer’s needs. Barco will be installing 4 video walls with a 2x1 layout in the principal monitoring room and 2 video walls in a single cube layout in another 2 separate control rooms. Each video wall system has a redundant graphic controller and is perfectly integrated with the multimedia system for operator training and information.
