The OL series is Barco's line of next-generation rear-projection video walls. By combining LEDs to create the images with Barco's unique technology, the OL series show saturated colors, low maintenance and usability in 24/7 applications.
With the OL series, Barco tackled some of the biggest issues in video wall design today. Solving overheating of LEDs, color imbalance, and overconsumption of space and disposables, the OL series have become the video wall solution with the coolest engine, warmest colors and smallest footprint.
Warmest colors
Brightness and color characteristics of LEDs can change due to aging, changing temperatures or higher drive current. Barco's unique Sense6 technology counteracts these effects by constantly measuring brightness and color output, and correcting changes in real time.
Coolest engine
Barco introduces liquid cooling to video walls, doubling the lifetime of the LEDs. Liquid cooling does not need many heavy fans to drive heat away from the LED source, resulting in less disturbing control room noise.
Smallest footprint
With a depth of only 45 centimeter and front accessibility, the OL series makes more compact control room design possible. But also the ecological footprint is minimal, as the OL series is manufactured with recyclable materials and produces less waste.
Barco's LED video wall was developed based on a long heritage of LED expertise as Barco has been manufacturing LED signage since the nineties. Today, Barco processes more than 2 million LEDs every week.
